As the duo friends, Wheaton and O’Connell reunited at the latter’s co-hosted show The Talk. Both were happy to see each other as they talked about their childhood drama Stand By Me. However, it was the childhood trauma of Wheaton that made the duo a bit upset over it.

Yet, Jerry O’Connell who happens to be a good friend of Wheaton. Made an apology to Wheaton for not being with him when his friend underwent childhood abuse trauma in hands of his own parents. Though he believed that he was too young to understand that. He certainly felt bad about not knowing about it and being there for his friends.
Wheaton appreciated O’Connell’s concern
Wheaton who suffered with childhood abuse during the filming of Stand By Me. Talked about his experience of surviving it. Though both Wheaton and Jerry were really young to understand that. Jerry definitely made an apology to Wheaton over the trauma his friend went through.
However, even Wheaton was seen appreciating his friend’s concern over the trauma he dealt with. He went on to say that Jerry was 11 at that time. As such it wasn’t possible for him to know of the abuse. Not to miss, the movie in which both Wheaton and O’Connell featured completed its 35 years.
