Jenna about her experience with online trolling said “Social media, what it does to anyone our age, it’s such a comparing game. She further said “It influences bandwagon mentality. It’s very manipulative”. Ortega shared how she wants to be humorous on social media but has to be careful for she might be misinterpreted.

Jenna Ortega even spoke about how famous she became after her Netflix series Wednesday. That has made her prone to trolling as well. She said, “They see your vulnerability and twist it in a way that you don’t always expect”. While saying so Ortega had tears in her eyes.
She further added “It’s so strange. Sorry, I didn’t mean to do this. It’s such a hard thing to balance. Because how do you be honest without jeopardizing your own health and safety? It’s very easy to feel almost out of control”.
Fanning too agreed to what Ortega said and shared from her side on how she wants to be funnier too online but is aware that it may have its consequences in the form of backlash.
