Jen Shah claims that she tried to commit suicide following the troll Instagram account Angie and Chris Harrington used for her fraud scandal. It was revealed during Wednesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” that the 49-year-old was suicidal because she was overwhelmed with everything happening in her life. The whole Angie Harrington and Chris Harrington thing affected me so much that I attempted suicide,” she said, adding that her husband had to take her to the hospital. Shahexposed was created by Chris Harrington in the midst of Shah’s fraud trial in an effort to bash other Bravolebrities, specifically Lisa Barlow, Shah’s notorious frenemy.

Nevertheless, Shah explained that using her last name implied that all her family was involved, when in fact it was none of them. According to the reality star’s previous episode of “RHOSLC,” she became depressed after she was accused of scamming millions of dollars from people. In July, Jen Shah pleaded guilty to fraud charges stemming from a nationwide telemarketing scam targeting elderly people. While she maintained her innocence for months, Shah changed her plea at the last minute, admitting to committing wire fraud and knowingly providing substandard services to people over 55.
