According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a man named Chase Gardella has sued both Jack Doherty and his bodyguard, Kane Kongg. A video of the incident also surfaced on the internet, showing Kane punching a man.
It appears that Chase has filed a battery and assault lawsuit against the YouTuber and his bodyguard over the same incident.
What did Chase Gardella accuse Jack Doherty and his bodyguard of?
According to a TMZ report, Chase attended the Halloween party on October 29th, and around 12:30, he spoke to both Jack Doherty and his bodyguard, Kane Kongg. According to the documents, it was Jack who told Chase, “We’re gonna fight. It’s us two versus you two, alright, let’s go.”
The YouTube clip showed Kane punching a man who appeared to be Chase. However, according to Chase, he did not give permission to be punched, which resulted in several injuries to his head, face, and neck. He fell after being punched by the YouTuber’s bodyguard.

As both Jack Doherty and Kane Kongg face a lawsuit for battery and assault filed by Chase Gardella, Chase’s attorney spoke to TMZ about the allegations, stating, “This was a disgusting, unprovoked assault on a young man by a professional boxer at the direction of his social media influencer employer.”
Greyson Goody, Chase’s attorney, added, “Chase was minding his own business, enjoying a fun Halloween party with friends when he was brutally attacked by a man several times larger than him. This sort of behavior by Jack Doherty and his cronies needs to end. Chase suffered serious injuries that could derail his life and career.”
