For those who don’t know what swatting means, it is a situation created when someone online calls the police, falsely informing them of a troubled situation happening in a house. This type of situation has been occurring with content creators often.
YouTuber IShowSpeed threatens to leave YouTube
On November 16th this year, YouTuber IShowSpeed showed his fans his new mansion worth $10,000k. However, a few days later, he faced a swatting situation. On November 22nd, while Speed was interacting with users on Ome.tv, a website similar to Omegle.

The YouTuber took off his earphones upon hearing noise outside. He then asked his assistant about what the noise was. During that time, his assistant, Slipz, was having a conversation with the police.
Meanwhile, Speed got irritated and said to his assistant “Yo what the f*** is happening bro?”. He added, “There’s no way. I’m about to quit YouTube bruh, I can’t do this anymore”.

While Slipz was having a conversation with the police during Speed’s livestream, the YouTuber let his viewers listen to the conversation. Whether or not Speed will indeed quit YouTube isn’t known yet, despite expressing frustration. However, we have definitely seen his fans react to the recent swatting incident.
