IShowSpeed Faces Assault and Racism Allegations from YouTuber AlfreeMP4 in Controversial Exposé Video

YouTuber AlfreeMP4 Accuses IShowSpeed of Physical Assault and Encouraging Racism in Scathing Video.
On August 14, 2024, YouTuber AlfreeMP4 released a video titled This Video Will Make You Hate IShowSpeed, in which he leveled serious accusations against popular internet personality Darren “IShowSpeed.” In the video, AlfreeMP4 accused the 19-year-old streamer of physical assault, promoting racism and sexism, and engaging in behavior that could put his family in danger—all for the sake of clout.
AlfreeMP4 began the video with a direct and scathing commentary on IShowSpeed’s alleged misconduct:
“On this episode of Busted, we’re going to be exposing a well-known YouTuber – IShowSpeed, for being a narcissist that exploits his young and impressionable audience, a scammer, a sexist, who allegedly assaulted someone on video. And someone who’s almost put his family’s life in danger just for the sake of clout.”
Allegations of Physical Assault During Denmark Trip
In the video’s first segment, AlfreeMP4 revisited IShowSpeed’s trip to Denmark, where he allegedly assaulted a man. He referenced a viral clip, which surfaced during the trip, showing the YouTuber being chased by a dog. However, according to AlfreeMP4, there was an unstreamed part of that day in which IShowSpeed allegedly slapped a man.
AlfreeMP4 narrated the incident:
“The clip I’m about to show you, allegedly assaulting this person, was not taken from his stream, but rather from someone else’s point of view. As on that very same day, he did his stream, and in that stream, he was being chased by this dog. The part that wasn’t streamed to his audience, though, shows him allegedly slapping a man for no reason.”
He further claimed there was a witness who saw the event, adding credibility to the allegation. AlfreeMP4 showed a clip where a woman off-camera can be heard reacting to the situation:
“Why did he just hit a random guy? He knocked the random guy’s glasses off. That’s kind of messed up.”
The video showed the man picking up his glasses after the incident, further supporting AlfreeMP4’s claims. He emphasized the weight of this evidence, stating:
“Not only do we have a video of this happening, we also have a witness to back up this claim. Kind of hard to argue against.”
Accusations of Encouraging Racism Among Followers
At around the nine-minute mark of the video, AlfreeMP4 shifted his focus to allegations of racism. He presented several short clips showing IShowSpeed’s viewers making offensive comments, some of which were racially charged. AlfreeMP4 claimed that IShowSpeed was encouraging and normalizing such behavior by allowing these comments to persist unchallenged.
AlfreeMP4 remarked:
“I feel like it’d be one thing if you, obviously, make some kind of racial jokes. But I feel like it’s another thing where you present this to your millions of followers to laugh at you for. And then it’s not just that, but then when you have the racist encounters in person, it’s kind of hard for you to get angry at it.”
The YouTuber accused IShowSpeed of perpetuating harmful racial stereotypes, especially as a prominent Black content creator:
“If you branded yourself as a ‘stereotypical Black,’ who jokingly or not feeds into these stereotypes on camera, you’re going to have a lot of people who feel comfortable putting you down for your race. And, in which, I don’t think is a coincidence that out of all the Black content creators and streamers, you probably have gotten the most racially harassed out of all.”
AlfreeMP4’s accusations sparked significant discussion on social media, with viewers divided on the matter. Some supported his critique, while others questioned the validity of the claims or defended IShowSpeed’s often controversial content.
IShowSpeed’s Silence
As of this writing, IShowSpeed has yet to respond publicly to AlfreeMP4’s allegations. The internet personality, known for his explosive and sometimes provocative style, has faced backlash and controversy before but continues to maintain a massive following. Whether these recent accusations will impact his career remains to be seen.
For now, the allegations against IShowSpeed have added another layer of scrutiny to the streamer, with many waiting to see how he will address the claims, if at all.
