His wife Aventer posted a description of her husband’s health predicament on Instagram and requested prayers.
She also shared a photo of her holding his hand as he was lying in a hospital bed. According to reports, the pair has been wed for almost ten years.
How happened to Pastor John Gray?
Aventer revealed that her pastor husband had visited the emergency room on Thursday, July 7, after “feeling a different” during the preceding few weeks.
According to the posting, he was taken to the CCU with “A saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots.”
According to Health Line, Saddle Pulmonary Embolism, or SPE, is a blockage in one of the lungs’ many arteries.
“The Saddle PE is in a position where any movement could likely result in his death.” According to Aventer’s blog post, only God is keeping the heavy clot weight in place.
The spouse of the pastor describes how dire things are for him
Aventer has made it known that her spouse is in a dire predicament, thus she is asking for help and requesting prayers.
She said that within the next 24 hours, John might need to undergo two different types of surgery “because to the pressure now on the heart.” He’s currently in the CCU.
She went on to say that she had learned from the doctor that others in John’s circumstances “had arrived into the hospital dead.”
Because of his condition, John is unable to walk or even move.
Prayers abound for his quick recovery
John Gray is a Cincinnati native. The senior pastor at Relentless Church is John. He was listed on Oprah’s Super Soul 100, a list of “100 uncomfortable leaders who are utilizing their voices and talent to elevate humanity,” according to his official website.
People have been expressing prayers for his quick recovery after learning about his health.
“Your spouse has already been corrected and healed by God, sis… God’s grace, your faith, and our prayers! Prayed and prayed!,” said one under Aventer’s post.
