The Clinton-Kardashian date has been the talk of the town recently. The former KUWTK star, Kim Kardashian was hanging out with former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton. The trio met at the Hot & Cool Café at Canoga Park in Los Angeles on Monday.
In addition, a camera crew followed and accompanied the trio as well. Sources reveal that they met for the shoot of “Gutsy Women”. Featuring the Clintons as the hosts, the show will be broadcast on Apple TV+. Moreover, the café is the right setting for this show, which celebrates a group of trailblazing and diverse women. ‘The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience’ was the inspiration for Gutsy Women. The co-authors of the aforementioned book are Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton. Above all, the book is based on the people who inspired and served as role models to the Clintons. Among them, Harriet Tubman and Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg are two of the role models featured in this book.
The Hot & Cool Café
A quest to answer the question: “what does it take to be a gutsy woman?” will be the subject of the documentary. This documentary series will feature the owners of Hot & Cool Café, Tina Amin and Tony Jolly, who launched the café in 2018. One of the things that makes this café stand out is its social impact strategy and it recruits formerly incarcerated people. Kim Kardashian has been strongly advocating the cause in the recent years.
Above all, the owner of the café has provided thousands of meals to senior citizens. In addition, he provided meals to those individuals who were adversely affected due to the pandemic. Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti have both recognized and commended his efforts. He chose that area for his café so that residents struggling to find healthy food options would have something to look forward to.
