Kevin Spacey was reportedly transported to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. The House of Cards star, who was found not guilty of nine sexual assaults in July, was in Uzbekistan for the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival when the event occurred. Spacey stated in a festival address that he was touring the Afrasiyab Museum in the mediaeval Silk Road city of Samarkand when his “entire left arm went numb for about eight seconds.” The Sun obtained a video of Spacey saying, “I experienced stuff here today that was unexpected.”I was marvelling at these magnificent murals on the walls when my entire left arm became numb for approximately eight seconds. “I shrugged it off, but I immediately alerted the people I was with and we went straight to the […] medical centre.”

According to The Sun, doctors first suspected Spacey was having a heart attack, but he was later given the all-clear. “Mr Spacey was rushed to a medical centre due to health concerns,” The Sun claimed, citing a source close to the actor. “”He got medical care efficiently from doctors and staff and was determined to have no issues with his heart.” Spacey is currently looking to resume his acting career after leaving the last season of Netflix’s House of Cards early in 2017. The show was changed to feature his co-star, Robin Wright, as the main character. Christopher Plummer took his spot in Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World. The Oscar winner had denied nine counts, including sexual assault, that he was accused of committing between 2001 and 2013.
