Recently on social media, a pic went viral showing a man with a big strange fish. The fish is said to be the Algerian Gorilla Fish. The picture showed a fish with its head similar to that of a gorilla and was big in size. It went viral on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Not just that, an Instagram user @therealtarzann who has millions of followers on the platform to reposted the pic. His post had the caption “what a great photo of this Algerian gorilla fish. This is an adult male they usually get about 3-4 ft but this guy was eating baby whales this winter and had fully maxed out in size”.
Is Algerian Gorilla Fish real?
Although it isn’t that the image of the viral Algerian Gorilla Fish has gone viral for the first time. The authenticity of the image remains to be a mystery. As it seems that the picture of the creature is unreal.
The picture of the gorilla fish even appeared on Facebook and Twitter. Where it was claimed that the fish was found in Carli Bay, Central Trinidad.

The video claiming the same even grabbed millions of views on the same. However, its authenticity wasn’t proven.

Thats an Algeria Gorilla Fish. They usually reside in the nearby rivers beds during the warmer climates to mate. This is the first photograph iâve seen of one this big as their usually 3-4ft long. Must be from the climate shifts⊠also i just made this sh*t up.
