Instagram model Gena Tew is facing yet another issue after being diagnosed with HIV earlier this year. She has apparently gone blind in one eye after eye surgery.

Gena Tew goes blind for the second time
Gena Tew underwent a procedure in August after she was diagnosed with AIDs and lost vision in her left eye. Hence, she was hoping the surgery would restore her vision.
However, Tew claims that she is still completely blind in her left eye. Moreover, she stated that all she can see is pitch-black darkness.
According to TMZ, the model was supposedly getting better after her surgery. She has also restored some of her vision. Regardless, her vision reverted nearly five days following the procedure.

Besides that, Tew has revealed that the doctors have prescribed her new medicines. However, the drugs are doing nothing but make her sick all the time.
Tew has further mentioned that the doctors are considering another surgery. But she is yet to make her decision.
Meanwhile, the model has apparently shown improvement in other areas. As per the news, she put back some weight recently and has gone from 90 lbs to 105 lbs. Furthermore, Tew is gradually regaining her ability to walk with support from a walker.
If you didn’t know, Tew launched a GoFundMe following her diagnosis so she could move to a place close to her family. Subsequently, she has recently admitted that she has raised enough cash to make the move.
Gena Tew discloses she has AIDs
Gena Tew has been sharing her health journey on social media after she revealed that she has tested HIV positive.
However, the social media figure has refused to name the person behind it all. She was previously linked to some of the a-list hip hop singers such as Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, Dave East, and Chief Keef.
However, according to her videos, Tew caught AIDs when she was between the ages of 17 and 19.
Nevertheless, she shared a couple of possible reasons why she might have contracted the virus.
In one of her reasons, she explains, ‘I have had a couple of free tattoos so it could have been a dirty needle, I don’t know. Do I know any one of those people? No. Did I say anything when those things happened? No. Because I was naive and I was stupid and I was young.’
