During NBC’s morning news show, Today, Ice Spice confirmed the arrival of her album recently. She told the hosts, “Yes, there’s going to be an album.” Saying so, she expressed her excitement for the album set to be released this year. She also revealed more details about it.

Talking about the title, she mentioned it’s in reference to her birthday, which is on the 1st of January, 2000. She heightened the excitement for her fans when she discussed her collaboration, stating, “I have a crazy collaboration that just got locked in, like two days ago”.
