Hugh Jackman Praises “Kathy Voytko” After She Replaced the Lead Actress in a Broadway on Christmas Eve

On the 23rd of December 2021, Kathy Voytko, a musical theatre performer took the lead role in The Music Man play. She prepared for her part in less than 5 hours. The performer arrived on the set an hour late. Meanwhile, the rehearsals had begun and that was when she was informed about her lead role. The Musical Man also stars Hugh Jackman in a lead role along with Kathy. Voytko performs plays on Broadway. She is a great performer and star.

Voytko played the role of Marian instead of Sutton Foster. However, the changes happened last minute and yet Kathy managed to rock her performance. Kathy was told about the last-minute changes on the day of her performance. Hugh Jackman praised Voytko for her performance and told the audience that the star could do 8 roles and everyone would still love it. The Musical Man is a 1957 musical play.

Jackman adds that 5 hours before their performance they need to rehearse. On the contrary, rehearsals take place in a situation where they can only see and learn sitting in a corner. All that the performers can do is, just take notes and see.
