Grant Gilbertson’s Cause Of Death
According to certain reports, Grant died on the spot of the accident. Two cars, including Grant’s, collided on the Sooke road, causing Gilbertson’s demise. The weather was icy on Monday, the 3rd of January, 2022, at around 6:00 pm when the crash took place. Initially, Grant Gilbertson left his home to practice for a game, that was to take place on Wednesday, and another on Friday. The practice was happening at Panorama Rec Centre. The Panorama Centre is located in North Saanich.
Peninsula Panthers, the Hockey team’s, owner while talking about the demise of Grant Gilbertson said that he went to the rink for training about 5:30 pm. He expressed that he saw the lanes were completely okay. Eventually, when he got into the parking area at the Panorama, he mentioned that the pathway looked greasy. In addition to this, Zubersky, who is also an owner of Peninsula Panthers informed that the accident news got out, exactly 20 minutes before the practice session. However, he expressed that according to him, it was very shocking and devastating.

Grant Gilbertson was an 18-year-old boy. He had an interest in hockey and so he joined the Peninsula Panthers. It had just been two years since he was a member of the team. However, because of his great gameplay and leading nature, he was the head of the team. According to his teammates, he would bring smiles to the places he went. His demise was a shock to the entire team and his mother, who kept calling the owner, asking about Gilbertson after he left the house. Grant played the forward position for his team Vancouver Island of the Junior Hockey League Club.
Presently, Grant’s teammates are in pain for losing their very lovely brother. They are grieving his demise. However, the Panthers match took place on Wednesday night with The Wolves in Westshore. Simultaneously, their next game would be happening on Friday against Victoria Cougars. Giving tribute to Grant Gilbertson, there will be a ceremony in remembrance of him.
