Bruce Johnson, died on 3 April he was experiencing a cancer diagnosis just two years before resigning from his program Off Script with Bruce Johnson.
He struggled tough but he left the world. His age was 71 at the time of his death

The remarkable anchor has since earned many awards. Bruce has been introduced into the society of professional journalist Hall of fame, the Washington D.C. Hall of Fame.
He was also a part of the National Press Club, a lifetime member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).

Lori declared the news on her Facebook page Sunday, saying that the family wants folks to accept their privacy at this time.
His reason for death is not clear, people are assuming it may be due to his cancer problem.
Many people shared their consolations on social media to admire the work which he did in his career.
His family is handling sad times due to his death. They are mourning his demise.
Longtime 7News DC reporter Sam Ford, who knew Johnson closely, posted, Wow, what a shock. He said that he saw Bruce a week or so ago. And he was the MC for the mayor’s March Madness occasion at the Ronald Reagan Building.
