Heather West: TikToker recalls horror when her foot was ripped open by a shark in Florida

West claims she was also at the Dry Tortugas National Park. With only a bunch of other tourists before they chose to go swimming at the time of the incident. The party stayed close to the coast and swam in a single file, including West towards the far end. She had a “terrible vibe” all of a sudden. “I had this extremely awful vibe,” she recounted, “and something in me told, ‘Get out.’

West stated that she tried to get out from the sea. But felt as if something was grasping her foot and tugging her back in. “We sat after what seemed like an eternity. I was just not moving, but neither was the shark. ‘Well, this is becoming a little uncomfortable,’ I thought. ‘How long you’re going to put your foot on my foot?’ And as quickly as I realized it, he tears me apart and drags me beneath the ocean. “I was all like, ‘Oh s**t, this is really a shark. As soon as he began yanking,” she claimed. Before saying, “No, that’s mine, you can’t really take that.”
West screamed and hurled personal attacks at the predator after the shark plucked her foot in the2nd attempt. First, before the shark left her, she began stroking it. She was therefore returned to a safe location. West claimed she examined her foot as soon as she returned to the shore. Hea ther West then exclaimed, “I won,” again and over. She was then transferred to Key West for medical care.

A swimmer was attacked by a 4.5-meter shark in Sydney on Wednesday, February 16. West’s story first broke as a swimmer was killed by a 4.5-meter shark. Simon Nellist, a British immigrant who was about to marry his partner in Sydney, has indeed been confirmed as the victim. The 35-year-old was another diving coach as well as an admirer of the sea.
