Paramore’s Hayley Williams issues stern warning to fans over Ron DeSantis
Hayley Williams made her stance on Ron DeSantis clear when she took the stage at Adjacent Music Festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey, over the weekend.
She said, ‘I’ll be happy to tell you I’m very f***ing comfortable talking politics.’
She continued, ‘If you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re f***ing dead to me. Is that comfortable enough for anyone?’
Moreover, clips of her performance show the fans cheering in response to Williams’ declaration.

Besides that, the 34-year-old lead singer’s announcement comes after she was accused of being uncomfortable to talk politics on tour.
Meanwhile, DeSantis, who is the current governor of Florida, is all set to run for the 2024 US Presidential elections and will compete against former US President Donald Trump.
He spoke about his decision during an interview with Fox & Friends on Memorial Day.
He stated, ‘I will be able to destroy leftism in this country and leave woke ideology on the dustbin of history.’
If you didn’t know, he is best known for signing multiple anti-LGBTQ+ bills which focus on drag shows, transgender kids, and pronouns.
Furthermore, this is not the first time Williams has addressed politics. She is known for advocating LGBTQ+ rights. She criticized Tennessee’s drag ban earlier this year in February.

Fans react to Hayley Williams’ comments on Ron DeSantis
Netizens have begun to hail Hayley Williams after she took her stand against Ron DeSantis and said that whoever votes for him is ‘dead’ to her.
In addition, many fans took to their respective social media account and called her a ‘queen’ for boldly making these statements in front of an audience.
Regardless, others claimed that Williams act made them fall for her and her band Paramore all over again.
