Hannah Montana Star Mitchel Musso Arrested: Bag of Chips Theft and Public Drunkenness

Mitchel Musso, a “Hannah Montana” alum, was detained on suspicion of public intoxication & larceny after an argument on Saturday. Musso, most recognised for his role as Oliver Oken on the Disney Channel sitcom, was arrested Saturday night in Rockwall, Texas, after a disturbance was reported at a local hotel, according to a news release from the Rockwall Police Department. Police were called after the 32-year-old actor, who seemed inebriated, allegedly entered the hotel & stole a bag of chips without paying. When asked to pay for the chips, Musso allegedly became nasty and left without paying.

Rockwall police located Musso outside the hotel, where he displayed indications of intoxication, and he was detained on two counts: public intoxication and theft under $100. Musso also had multiple outstanding traffic warrants, according to a background check. Mitchell was taken to the Rockwall County Detention Centre and stayed there for one night. He was released on a $1,000 bond on Sunday afternoon. From 2006 through 2011, Musso co-starred in “Hannah Montana” with Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, and Jason Earles. Musso recognised the 10th anniversary of the sitcom & his love for his former castmates with an online homage in 2016.

Mitchel Musso, who played Miley Cyrus’ best friend Oliver Oken on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana, was arrested on suspicion of public drinking and stealing. According to USA Today, Mitchel was detained on Saturday night in Rockwall, Texas, following an incident at a local hotel after someone reported a disturbance. According to a news statement from the Rockwall Police Department, the portal stated that the 32-year-old actor allegedly entered the hotel and took a bag of chips without paying for them. When Mitchel, who appeared to be inebriated, was asked to pay for the chips, he allegedly ‘got very aggressive’ and departed without paying. Mitchel Musso was arrested for public drunkenness and larceny under $100 after allegedly displaying signs of intoxication outside the hotel. He was reportedly taken to the Rockwall County Detention Centre and held for one night. He was released on a $1,000 bond on Sunday afternoon.
According to the report, a background check indicated that Mitchel had many outstanding traffic warrants against him. This isn’t the very first time the Disney star has had trouble with the law. At the age of 20, he was detained in Burbank, California, for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI). People magazine said at the time that he had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) that was ‘far over’ the legal limit 08 per cent. Mitchel Musso rose to prominence as a youngster in the late 2000s as Oliver Oken, Miley Stewart’s (portrayed by Miley Cyrus) best friend in Hannah Montana. Hannah Montana is a Disney Channel teen sitcom developed by Michael Poryes, Rich Correll, and Barry O’Brien that aired for four seasons from March 2006 to January 2011. Emily Osment and Jason Earles also appeared on the show. Mitchel Musso also provided the voice of Jeremy in the Phineas and Ferb animated series. Between August 2007 and June 2015, the American show aired on Disney Channel & Disney XD for approximately four seasons.
