Halyna was a 42-year-old cinematographer, who had a Los Angeles base. She has worked in such a great movie such as Archenemy, Darlin, and Blindfire. As the photography’s director, she was working for Rust.

According to BBC, a person who speaks for Alec told AP News agency that the incident happened cause of misfiring, which was a prop gum with blankets.
The statement by the police read, “The sheriff’s office confirms that two individuals were shot on the set of Rust. Halyna Hutchins, 42, director of photography, and Joel Souza, 48, director, were shot when a prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin, 68, producer, and actor.”
Reuters reports that no charges were filed in connection with the case, but police are interviewing witnesses and investigating the shooting and interviewing witnesses.
