Halsey claims that the nanny who is suing her over firing put her child’s health at risk

Singer Halsey is firing back at their former nanny who is suing her for being fired.
Most recently, Halsey came forward to reveal her part of the story after a case was filed against her.

Halsey claims that the nanny was fired for being a potential danger to her child
If you didn’t know, Halsey’s ex-nanny, Ashley Funches filed a Disability Discrimination and Retaliation lawsuit against her.
Funches claims that she was fired from her job after taking time off work for an emergency medical procedure.
Nevertheless, Halsey does not see the incident the same way as Funches.
A representative for Halsey spoke to TMZ on behalf of the ‘Without Me’ singer.
As per the TMZ report, the rep said, ‘These allegations are baseless. This individual’s employment was recently terminated in response to specific incidents in which Halsey’s infant was left unsupervised in an unsafe location while under the nanny’s care, and it was discovered the nanny was intoxicated while the child was in her care.’
They added, ‘Furthermore, at no time during this individual’s term of employment with Halsey were any complaints even raised. Consequently, while Halsey is both saddened and disappointed by this turn of events, they feel it is important to refute these allegations publicly, as they take ableism and ethical working conditions very seriously.’
The Nightmare artist welcomed a baby boy, Ender Ridley Aydin, with her boyfriend Alev Aydin in July 2021.

Ashley Funches is reportedly suing both Halsey and her music company.
In the legal documents, Funches mentioned that she was hired last year as a ‘live-in personal attendant for her newborn child.’
The woman continued that she was paid every two weeks based on her annual salary.
Her jobs included,’ caring for the child, preparing meals, cleaning, laundry, cleaning breast pump materials, organizing the nursery, and running errands as needed.’
The nanny further claimed that she complained to her employers about the lack of overtime compensation. In return, she was given $5000 without any explanation.
Funches says that she still has no idea why they had given her the lump sum amount.
On 16th March 2022, she sent a text to Halsey saying that she is taking a leave of absence. She mentioned she had to ‘undergo a medical procedure’ that would require a few days off.
The nanny listed in her documents that ‘a few days later’ she was terminated by the singer.
