For quite some time, the Pitch Perfect singer has been talking about releasing new songs, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the same. However, her recent Instagram tale alarmed many individuals. Hailee Steinfeld seemed to apologise to her followers, but many were perplexed since they were ignorant of what was going on.

On May 14, Hailee Steinfeld came to Instagram and shared a blank photo with the remark, “I wish I could explain.” We’ll make it. “Please accept my apologies.” After then, the singer posted another anecdote. It was a picture of the sky this time. She did not, however, provide a caption with it. Several fans were perplexed, believing the artist was sending cryptic signals. Others, meantime, were concerned about her because they couldn’t understand why Hailee had been apologising.

The caption was intended at all of the fans who had been waiting for new songs from the musician. For a long time, the singer has hinted that a new album or piece of music will be released shortly. However, there has been no update or word from the singer as of yet regarding what they may expect. As a result, some fans slammed Hailee Steinfeld on social media, with others demanding new songs as she had promised. In fact, in one of her responses to fans who inquired about new music, Hailee Steinfeld stated, “I know. That was never my aim. It wasn’t my decision, and it was certainly too soon.”

In an interview with People in April 2022, Hailee Steinfeld indicated that new music will be released shortly. “It will undoubtedly usher in a new age,” she remarked. However, based on her latest Instagram story, fans have decided to allow her the space and freedom to release a new song whenever she wants.
