Gucci Mane calls for an investigation into Pooh Shiesty’s prison treatment
Gucci Mane took to his social media account on Wednesday to fire off the prison that is currently holding Pooh Shiesty.
Furthermore, in his message, he claimed that Shiesty is released only for one hour from his jail cell. In addition, he said that the 23-year-old singer is getting food trays without food in them.
Meanwhile, the boss of 1017 Records wrote, ‘We do not pay attention to how inmates in the US are treated! This is unacceptable!’

Gucci Mane whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis mentioned, ‘@PoohShiesty has been sent to a prison over 1500 miles from his home, 23 hr lockdown and given empty food trays.’
He continued, ‘USP Pollack [sic] should be investigated immediately.’
The 42-year-old singer further tagged US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in the caption of the post. Moreover, he added the hastags, ‘#movepooh’ and ‘#prisonreform.’
Meanwhile, Gucci Mane’s accusations are quite similar to the past claims made by Shiesty’s attorney Bradford Cohen.
The lawyer stated that his client has been confined in a jail cell for about 23 hours each for the last 6 months at FCI Pollock in Louisiana.
Besides that, he alleged that the jail staff is deliberately messing with mail of Shiesty. He claims that the prison officials are holding back letters from Shiesty’s fans, family, and friends.
He went on to suggest that the officials are also blocking the letters sent by Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Donell Williams Jr., to his loved ones.
Cohen then said that it took him nearly 2 to 3 weeks to set an appointment with the Tennessee native. Also, he stated that Shiesty’s family is facing a hard time trying to get in touch and visit him.
Why is Pooh Shiesty behind prison bars?
Pooh Shiesty has been convicted of firearm possession in connection with a shootout in southern Florida in 2020.
Additionally, he was initially facing eight years in prison for allegedly shooting 28-year-old Brandon Cooper. However, he accepted a plea deal in April which reduced his sentence to five years and three months in prison.
