Greta Thunberg alongside her fellow activists was detained on 17th January Tuesday in Germany.
Moreover, they were protesting against the demolition of a coal village in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, they were rallying for the country to expand its sources of renewable energy.
However, they were forcefully removed from the premises and arrested after they refused to leave the protest despite receiving multiple warnings.

Meanwhile, several images and videos of the 20-year-old climate activist being carried away by three cops are going viral on social media. However, Thunberg was released after a brief detention and identity check.
