Grammy Winner Wizkid & Burna Boy Collaborates Again For A Music Video
2 min readWizkid and Burna Boy are collaborating to create another masterpiece. The afro-beats singers have won Grammy and are joining their hands for another joint single. The announcement was done by Wizkid while performing with African Giant- GINGER in London at the O2 Arena on Wednesday. This month the two collaborated with Iwunor Anselm Chibuzor, ( or Richplug) and he said it was a dream come true for him.
Wizkid announced on stage to his audiences that he and Burna Boy will drop a new song. He said that the duo has a new video and everything will come out soon for all. He added to this that don’t get inactive and do not ignore this announcement. Wizkid succeeded in his three-night show at the North Greenwich venue as he was on his Made in Lagos tour. During this concert only, he announced the collaboration and invited top artists on stage. Some of them were Tems, Chris Brown, and Burna Boy. The audience cheered out loud after the announcement even more as they got excited.
Who is Wizkid?
Wizkid, a 31-year-old, Nigerian singer and songwriter started his career in music at the age of 11 and released many collaborative works. The singer got immense love from the fans after releasing Holla at your Boy. He received international recognition after collaborating with Drake in the hit single One Dance. Due to this song, he received Guinness World record as the song broke many records making him the first Afrobeats artist to get this title. Two times, the singer made his work rank on World Digital Song Sales Chart and won a Grammy Award. His song Essence became the first Nigerian song to rank on Billboard Hot 100. This year in February, he was the most-streamed artist on Spotify around 3.4 Billion streams of all time.
