TMZ recently caught up with Gene Simmons following Rolling Stone’s release of its 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.
For the unversed, the publication is currently facing public outrage for snubbing several music icons including Simmons.
Moreover, Simmons gave his take on the controversial list during a brief interview with the media outlet.

In addition, the Kiss singer indicated that according to him the list is all about who is popular and who is not. He added that Rolling Stone’s ranking is seemingly skewed and often can be deemed one-sided.
Besides that, the 73-year-old singer the whole thing is not frequently about singing. He stated that the list most of the time is based on style and who has a more recognizable voice.
Meanwhile, Simmons claims that he does not ‘give a f*ck’ about missing the cut in the Rolling Stones.
Furthermore, he went on to take a dig at the publication saying that he wanted to buy Rolling Stones at one time.

Rolling Stones began the New Year by updating its ranking which kicked off back in 2008 and honors the best vocalists in pop music.
However, this time the publication is facing mass outrage for excluding iconic singers. It snubbed artists such as Celine Dion, Pink, Justin Bieber, and Madonna, among many more.

Meanwhile, the publication wrote on social media, ‘This new list was compiled by our staff and key contributors. It encompasses 100 years of pop music as an ongoing global conversation.’
They further added that the criteria were based on, ‘originality, influence, the depth of an artist’s catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy.’
