French Montana may be dragged to court after an attorney for a victim who was shot during the rapper’s music video shoot announced that he is planning to file a lawsuit

Attorney for shooting victim at French Montana video shoot plans to file a lawsuit

French Montana might be forced to face legal action following the mass shooting during his video shoot.

Moreover, Carl Leon was among the ten people who sustained injuries during the shooting on 5th January.

In addition, the 25-year-old’s attorney Josiah Graham says that his client was invited to the singer’s video shoot during an interview with NBC 6.

He said, ‘Sometime during the break of one of the scenes, that’s when he heard gunshots. He didn’t know what happened, like everyone else.’

Graham continued, ‘He took off running. As he’s running, he fell at some point. When he gets up, he discovers he’s been shot.’

According to him, Leon was ‘literally less than an inch away from sure death.’

Meanwhile, the rap music blogger named was shot in the s tomach and hand, and a bullet grazed his ear.

Leon, on the other hand, stated, ‘You know, everyone was dropping but I ran, and I didn’t notice I got hit in my hand until like afterwards when everything finished and I was looking, and I seen blood dripping.’

He added,  ‘If I stood there for another five seconds, you know, looking for somebody, I would’ve got his in the head.’

Cops blame French Montana for the mass shooting

Law enforcement in Miami revealed that they blame French Montana for the mass shooting that resulted in 10 people being injured.

Additionally, they mentioned that the Coke Boys 6 creator reportedly did not have the relevant permit to record a music video. Hence, he violated city policy.

The chief of Memphis police noted, ‘As a result of this disregard of the procedures, the unauthorized music video production led to an unfortunate situation.’

Besides that, Montana has come forward to deny that he was filming a music video. He claimed that he was ‘celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant.’

Elsewhere, Montana whose real name is Karim Kharbouch sought shelter at a nearby KFC restaurant when the gunman opened fire on Thursday night. 

In addition, the incident took place at the parking lot of The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens.
