Fred Savage fired from ‘The Wonder Years reboot following misconduct investigation

Fred Savage is in trouble after he is dismissed from his role in The Wonder Years reboot after the misconduct allegations against him. His dismissal has been out through a statement by 20th Television. As such the actor won’t be able to be a part of the reboot of The Wonder Years. But what are the allegations against him that resulted in his dismissal?

Fred Savage played a child actor in the sitcom The Wonder Years

One of the most famous works for Fred Savage came with the 1988 sitcom The Wonder Years. While the sitcom gave a total of 6 seasons to date. Fred’s role in the sitcom was of Kevin Arnold. The sitcom overall with its amusing storyline got enough appreciation from the viewers.

However, the first season of the reboot of the same sitcom came out in September last year. Surprisingly, the reboot was in work with Fred Savage serving as its executive producer and the director for the reboot. Yet, now he is no more doing it and that’s because of some allegations against him.

Fred Savage fired for misconduct allegations against him

While the reboot of The Wonder Years was having executive producer and director as Fred Savage. Destiny had some other plans as now his role as the duo is not in his hands anymore. It was through a statement by 20th Television, that’s producing the reboot, that they have fired Fred from his roles for the reboot.

The dismissal of Fred has come this time because of the misconduct allegations against him over the sets. Following this an investigation too was happening and Fred’s role was out. Not to forget, this isn’t the first time when the actor has been facing such allegations.

Previous allegations on Fred Savage

While the first season of the reboot came up last year. The second is still to come. However, after multiple misconduct allegations against him at the sets. The previous allegations against Fred too have come in limelight. Back in 2018 too, Alley Mills stated that the original sitcom was cancelled due to se*ual harassment lawsuit against Fred Savage & Jason Harvey.

The customer Monique Long accused the duo of verbal and physical harassment. Further in 2019 as well, a crew staff of Fox’s The Grinder accused Fred of battery, harassment, and other charges. Though Fred always denied those allegations against him.
