Controversial Kick streamer Yousef “Fousey” Erakat has seemingly announced his departure from the digital sphere in an emotional and charged message. On December 22, 2024, the 34-year-old content creator took to X (formerly Twitter) to deliver what he described as his “official goodbye.” His announcement reflected deep disillusionment with the online community and humanity in general, accusing people of selfishness and betrayal.
Fousey expressed his frustration, stating:
“This is my official goodbye. Over time, the circle got smaller until it became a decimal and (is) now nonexistent. And you know what? I realized you can’t trust anyone. People will backstab, betray, and do anything for a dollar or their own gain. It’s like we’re living in a world where everyone forgot there’s a God in charge of everything who we have to testify to. No morals, no loyalty, no sense of community—just selfishness, greed, and egos running wild.”
He continued, conveying heartbreak over what he sees as humanity’s moral decline:
“I’m disgusted. I’m heartbroken by how far humanity has fallen. This isn’t me playing victim—it’s me saying enough. I don’t trust you, I don’t need you, and I won’t rely on anyone anymore. You’ll never see me again. Free Palestine.”

The announcement sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some fans offered support and prayers, others expressed skepticism about the streamer’s statement. A user on X, @iDuncle_, urged Fousey to persevere, writing, “Stand tall, lift that chin, go solo, and make them miss you!” Meanwhile, @KristinaxFousey showed compassion: “Whatever you’re going through, God got you. Enjoy your holidays with your family.”

However, not everyone took his declaration seriously. User @rawsalerts remarked, “See you next week crashing out like always,” referencing Fousey’s history of dramatic announcements and returns.
This isn’t the first time Fousey has declared a hiatus from the internet. In early November 2024, he made headlines after a temporary ban from Kick followed his troubling statement about intending to harm himself. He subsequently announced his retirement from social media, only to make waves the next day with claims of being detained by Australian police.
As of now, whether this farewell will be permanent or another brief interlude remains to be seen. For Fousey, however, the message seems clear: he’s done with the online world, at least for now.
