Kanye West reportedly went missing for quite a while now. However, recent rumors are going around on social media that he was found in Ghana.

Kanye West’s fans think that he is staying in Ghana

The rumors about Kanye West being in Ghana stemmed from a tweet by Ebenezer Donkoh on 5th January. Donkoh is a DJ from New York.

He wrote, ‘I’m gathering info that Kanye West will be the surprise act at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend.’

Meanwhile, the Black Star Line music festival is an overseas pre-party celebration. It is all set to take place in Ghana, West Africa. 

In addition, West will supposedly attend the music festival as a surprise guest. The event is being organized by Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper.

Moreover, the other artists that will attend the music festival include Erykah Badu, T-Pain, Sarkodie, and Asakaa Boys, among more.

However, as of now, no official confirmation has been announced yet to disclose whether West is one of the performers at the event.

Besides that, the speculations come after several people close to West claimed the 45-year-old singer has been missing for the past couple of weeks. 

Additionally, a publication stated, ‘Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find for weeks according to his ex-business manager.’

Furthermore, the news went viral on social media. It was viewed by more than 20 million users all across the globe. But in actuality, the outlet did not share any interviews to support their claims.

Fans react to Kanye West being in Ghana

Fans of Kanye West were more than excited to learn of the possibility that the rapper might be present for the event in Ghana.

Moreover, some fans took to social media to share their joy over hearing that the Donda singer will perform at the free concert.

A user wrote, ‘Kanye west in Ghana. Ghana would be great again.’

Additionally, another chimed in saying, ‘Kanye west being the surprise art at the festival is a big win for Ghana.’

Someone else pointed out, ‘I feel like Kanye west is already in Ghana. He is just waiting to make a grand entrance to beat Meek Mill.’

A different fan went on to say, ‘Kanye West is in Ghana. #BlackStarLineFestival will be bigger and better than #GlobalCitizenFestival!’
