Netizens slam Oscars for appointing Jimmy Kimmel as the host for the third time
Many social media users took to networking sites to share their thoughts over Jimmy Kimmel being selected to host the Oscars, yet again.
One user wrote, ‘Ratings are about to go down again. I love the Oscars and will watch them for sure, but come on, his shows were just not good. You had Gaga voicing her interest, you had the Only Murders folks – and you go for this? Heck, even Ellen’s show was better.’

A different user chimed in pointing out, ‘Very very bad idea. The host should be someone directly involved with making movies in some fashion. This isn’t late-night comedy, It’s the Oscars!!’
