Fans react to American Idol contestant Lady K’s bold song choice

On Monday, American Idol returns with a fresh new episode on ABC. Things became a little more competitive this time. Not only were the candidates vying for a spot in the Top 10, but the judges (Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan) were also fighting against one another.
On Monday night’s program, the participants sang songs chosen by the judges. The contenders will put on even more remarkable performances in order to gain the country’s votes and advance in the competition.
Lady K’s risky music selection resulted in some hits and flops. Some fans praised the girl for taking risks at this stage of the tournament, while others said she should have chosen a song she was familiar with.
Last week, the Top 20 candidates were picked, and the Top 14 were chosen in the next episode. Contestants had a tough struggle ahead of them on Sunday, as the audience voted for the Top 11 finals of American Idol. With the country finally obtaining it’s Top 10, it’ll be a tight struggle tonight.

The premise and format of American Idol have just been raised a notch. This time, the judges got a little carried away with the competitive spirit. The participants gave outstanding performances of songs picked by one of the judges in episode 15 of the competition.
This time, the notion was that each judge chooses one song for each contestant. This meant that the participants had three options from which to choose the one that they felt most at ease singing. The contestants, on the other hand, would have no idea which judge chose the song. This eliminates any bias they may have toward a specific specialist. Following that, the contestants would work with a vocal coach before giving a memorable performance.
It was fascinating to witness the judges share the competitive spirit and tension that comes with winning the night. The judge whose song is performed by the majority of the candidates will be declared the winner.
The Top 11 took to the stage in Episode 15 to perform in front of the judges and a live audience, showcasing their talent and musical ability. The audience at home will vote for their favourite contestants as they perform, and the results will be tallied during the final commercial.
Leah Marlene, HunterGirl, Jay, Fritz Hager, Nicolina, Noah Thompson, Christian Guardino, Lady K, Emyrson Flora, Mike Parker, and Tristen Gressett are the Top 11 participants who will compete for a spot in the Top 10.

Lady K preferred Carie Underwood’s Jesus Take the Wheel, although she considered taking on Olivia Rodrigo’s Traitor as a challenge.
One user said Lady K kills it every single time. EVER. SINGLE. TIME. While another said “I’m excited Lady K. Her talent surpasses typical Eurocentric beauty standards. I hope she maintains her appearance as she grows older.”

Another person stated that Lady K was stunning and that she killed that song!
Some viewers were underwhelmed by the song selection and delivery of the contestants. She forgot some of the words, according to one viewer, Lady K should’ve gone with her first music choice because it was the only one she knew.
