Recently when the deal between Twitter and Elon Musk was finalised and Musk took over Twitter. We had one rumour about Musk saying he is to charge $16 for the they/ them pronoun on Twitter. That has made all think about its authenticity.

However, now we have one rumour saying that Musk is to charge $16 for they/them pronoun on Twitter. This news popped up when a user Elijah Schaffer came up with a joke about the news. The tweet of him said “@elonmusk says journalists with they/them pronouns in bio will pay a $16 monthly fee instead of the standard $8 for verification because “they” identify as multiple people”.
Though for all those who believe in this rumour of charging $16 for they/them pronouns. It’s just a joke and nothing real to believe.
Features of $8 per month verification plan of Twitter
With Musk taking the charge of Twitter now. We had one of the changes in the app come with the introduction of a paid verification plan for Twitter users. Under which a Twitter user in order to stay verified on Twitter will be required to pay $8 per month. After which one will get the blue tick on their Twitter account.
