It became a huge matter after George Floyd died that even began a trend on social media called Black Lives Matter. However, following the death of Floyd, Terry Crews too didn’t stop from commenting on that. Hence back in the year 2020, Crew’s tweets became controversial.
One of his tweets back then read “Defeating White Supremacy Without White People Creates Black Supremacy…”. He made some more tweets on the trend of Black Lives Matter and it became viral all over the internet.

The 53 years old star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine actually fell in trouble after his tweets on Black Lives Matter. As netizens went on to slam the tweets of Crews a lot. However, unlike the other stars, Crews even after getting slammed didn’t delete his tweets.

Terry Crews gave an apology for his Black Lives Matter tweets
It was only this week when on Wednesday, The Daily Show With Trevor Noah actually had Terry Crews as the guest. Crews while talking about a lot of stuff ended up mentioning his controversial tweets that happened in 2020. He said to Trevor Noah that he wants to apologize to all who were hurt by his tweets of 2020.
He went on to call those tweets a mistake made at that time. It felt as though Crews really made wrong tweets that hurt many people’s sentiments. However, he has publicly now realized his mistake and given an apology on the same.
