The Everwood and Hair star Treat Williams has passed away at the age of 71 and fans are heartbroken at the news. The family of the actor confirmed the news of his demise to Deadline in a statement.

The statement read “It is with great sadness that we report that our beloved Treat Williams has passed away tonight in Dorset, Vermont after a fatal motorcycle accident”. It further stated “As you can imagine, we are shocked and greatly bereaved at this time”.

Treat Williams was 71 when he died in a motorcycle accident. It was the Dorset fire Chief Jacob Gribble who confirmed that Treat was involved in the motorcycle accident. The motorcycle of Treat met with an accident with another vehicle.

As per reports, the other vehicle involved in the accident didn’t see Treat’s motorcycle resulting in the fatal accident. Treat after the fatal accident was airlifted to be rushed to the hospital. However, despite all the efforts the actor couldn’t be saved. The family of Treat have been mourning the sudden demise of the actor.

Treat Williams fans have been giving their tribute to the late star on social media. Treat’s family in their statement remembering the actor wrote “Treat was full of love for his family, for his life, and for his craft, and was truly at the top of his game in all of it”.

The true fans of Treat have extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of the late star. The statement by his family too stated something for the fans of Treat as it read “To all his fans, please know that Treat appreciated all of you and please continue to keep him in your hearts and prayers”.
