Emily Ratajkowski reveals her current relationship status
Emily Ratajkowski recently sat down with Variety magazine where she opened up about her relationship status.
She said, ‘I’m newly single for basically the first time in my life ever, and I just feel like I’m kind of enjoying the freedom of not being super worried about how I’m being perceived.’
Furthermore, the 31-year-old DNA Model continued, ‘One of the things I write about in the last essay of [“My Body”] is about control and kind of understanding that one of the best ways to actually be happy and have some semblance of control is letting go.’
Ratajkowski’s message comes after she sparked romance rumors with Brad Pitt. The duo has been reportedly hanging out with each other.
Additionally, the Inamorata CEO has neither confirmed nor denied the ongoing speculations about her relationship with the 58-year-old actor.
Regardless, a source has claimed that Ratajkowski and Pitt have decided to keep their romance under wraps due to the latter’s contentious custody dispute with Angelina Jolie.
One of the insiders mentioned, ‘Brad has quietly dated the last couple of years. He worries that [Angelina] Jolie will badmouth him to their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend.’
Is Emily Ratajkowski dating Brad Pitt?
As of now, there are no confirmations relating to the relationship between Emily Ratajkowski and Brad Pitt.
Moreover, the Oklahoma-born movie star reportedly met Ratajkowski for the first time during the Vanity Fair Oscar party that took place in Beverly Hills in 2020.
In September, reports started claiming that Pitt and the London-born SoCal native are seemingly ‘spending a lot of time together.’
During the same time, a source close to Ratajkowski stated that her relationship with Pitt is completely casual.
They said, ‘Emily is putting herself out there and enjoys the company. She’s trying to keep busy and not focus on the divorce. She and Brad met through mutual friends in the industry. It was causal and friendly.’
Meanwhile, Ratajkowski is currently enjoying her post-divorce from her husband of four years, Sebastian Bear-McClard. They share a 19-month-old son Sylvester Apollo Bear.
She filed for divorce last month following his infidelity where reports called him an alleged ‘serial cheater.’
