More about what Elon Musk may bring to streamers of X
While advertisements on streams could benefit X streamers, Musk also mentioned that the platform would “definitely be adding tipping” along with paid subscription plans. This plan will help streamers decide whether they want subscribers or not.
Which he added, “You can choose how much, but it’s like, I think one of the perks is like, you can even restrict the chat, or some of the chats, to be just subscribers. So then, you know, the advantage is that, somebody subscribing then, they get to chat”.
Not to forget, with other platforms also in the race, Twitch offers a 50/50 revenue split, and Kick provides a 95/5 split. X’s revenue split could change the scenario soon.
