Elon Musk agreed with an antisemitic remark on his social media site X, claiming that Jewish groups promote “hatred against Whites.” A statement on the X site on Wednesday afternoon stated: There has long been a Jewish community movement that has been promoting exactly the kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they want people to refrain from using against them.” The message allegedly alluded to “hordes of minorities” invading Western countries, a common antisemitic conspiracy theory. Musk responded, “You stated the actual truth.” The antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews are interested in bringing undocumented minority populations into Western nations to decrease White majorities has been advocated by online hate groups as well as echoed by Robert Bowers, who was found guilty of killing 11 worshippers at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue in 2018. It was the bloodiest anti-Jewish attack in American history.

In later writings, Musk stated that he doesn’t think that hatred of White people applies “to all Jewish communities.” What Musk was alluding to is unclear. According to the ADL, anti-Semitic incidents in the United States reached a new high in 2022. Although the ADL stated that the rise in antisemitism is not due to a single group, it did remark that antisemitic activity orchestrated by White supremacist groups more than doubled last year, based on a March audit. The ADL has been dismissive of X since Musk took over the platform over a year ago. The ADL, the Centre for Countering Digital Hate, and other organisations have recorded an increase in hate speech on X in the last year, claims Musk has either criticised or rejected. Musk threatened to sue the ADL for defamation in September, saying that the organization’s reports had damaged advertising sales on X.

Elon Musk Agrees With An Antisemitic Remark Claiming That Jewish Groups Promote “Hatred Against Whites”

Elon Musk, who has led X (previously Twitter) into a flood of anti-Semitic rhetoric since acquiring the site in 2022, has now backed a tweet condemning Jewish communities and blaming them for inciting “dialectical hatred against whites.” On Wednesday, X user @CWBOCA, In a tweet, describes himself as a “Jewish Conservative from South Florida” screenshots a PSA from the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism in which a father confronts his son for posting the pro-Nazi slogan “Hitler was right.” What do you say to the cowards lurking behind the veil of secrecy of the internet and posting “Hitler was right?’: You got something to say?” reads the caption. Why don’t you tell it directly to our faces?” In response, another user, @breakingbaht, said that Jewish groups “have actively promoted the exact kind of dialectical hatred towards whites that they assert they want individuals to stop employing against them,” saying, “I’m deeply disengaged in giving even the smallest shit now concerning western Jewish populations arriving to the disturbing realisation that those an abundance of minorities who support flooding their country don’t exactly like them too much.” Musk quickly responded, “You have said the actual truth.”

The billionaire subsequently stated in the same thread, “The ADL unjustly criticises the vast majority of the West, even though the majority of the West supports the Jewish people and Israel.” This is because of their inability, under their precepts, to criticise the minority groups that constitute their major threat. It is not right and must be stopped.” Musk has regularly chastised the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish charitable and human rights organisation dedicated to battling antisemitism and extremism. Musk personally boosted a campaign calling for the ADL to be banned in September by liking a post by a known white nationalist and later blamed the non-profit for a 60% drop in the site’s U.S. advertising revenue. (In fact, marketers have often blamed Musk for their leaving.) At one point, Musk threatened the ADL with a defamation suit, claiming they had slashed his company’s value in half and claiming the ADL was liable for a $22 billion loss. X has failed to weed out graphic imagery, misleading claims, and vile content concerning the Israel-Hamas battle as Musk delves deeper into antisemitic propaganda. Musk personally encouraged his over 160 million X followers to check out an antisemitic account renowned for propagating misinformation in a since-deleted tweet in October.
