Autopsy: The Last Hours of Eddie Van Halen is the title of the most recent episode of the show. The episode will premiere on Reelz on the 5th of June (Sunday), 2022, at 8 p.m. ET.

After the rockstar’s son Wolfgang Van Halen harshly attacked the show’s next episode, news of the impending episode has gained traction and created a buzz. “Pathetic & Heartless,” he allegedly termed it.

According to Reelz’s official synopsis for the June 5th episode of Autopsy, Eddie’s band had sold many platinum albums by the time he was 25 years old, and his unique guitar methods sealed Eddie’s place in Rock and Roll history. Nothing seemed to be able to stop him. But there was a darker undercurrent to Eddie’s infectious smile that would follow him throughout his life. He struggled with addiction for over four decades, having started drinking at the age of twelve. Eddie spent several years in and out of rehab, relying on booze and other narcotics to keep his creativity alive. He was a workaholic who pushed his body to its limits in order to succeed while battling illness in the background. Eddie died of cancer at the age of 65.
