The actress is back on the dating scene after a long hiatus. She revealed to guest Whoopi Goldberg on Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that she has begun dating again after years of taking a break following the divorce from Will Kopelman in 2016. We were both single when you last visited. There was no dating going on. Are you dating now? she asked Goldberg, before revealing she was. The fact that it had been so long making me a little concerned like I was too good at being alone, Barrymore explained. The View co-host then replied, “For good, no,” as she gave Barrymore some advice about dating again, after she asked Goldberg, 67 if she would consider getting back onto the dating scene.
For now, Whoopi Goldberg suggested a hit-and-run, until you realize, Now I really want someone just to be part of this, she added. You’re probably doing well because that’s not what you’re looking for right now. Apart from a few “occasional” dates over the past few years, Drew Barrymore has remained single for the most part. She shared with Queer Eye Bobby Berk earlier this year her struggles with dating. Drew Barrymore shares her daughter Olive, 10, and Frankie, 8 with Will Kopelman. The actress did admit, however, that she had taken steps to reenter the dating scene, noting that she had been using a dating app last year, but failing to find a match.

Nearly six years after finalizing her divorce from Will Kopelman, Drew Barrymore has decided to put herself on the market. The 47-year-old actress told Whoopi Goldberg on Thursday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show” that she has re-engaged after getting too comfortable being single. She revealed she’s ready to mingle on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she revisited an old conversation they had about being single from last year. Are you dating now, Goldberg asked the host during their conversation? I am, she revealed, adding, “I was getting a little concerned because it had been so long. After four years of marriage, Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman separated in 2016. They have two daughters named Olive and Frankie.
The actress hasn’t been in a relationship since then. The actress said in a blog post last year that she needed to stay very celibate for mourning the loss of the nuclear family she vowed to have for her daughters. On her show, she disclosed that she was on a dating app, but was hesitant to date younger men. Occasionally, I’ll swipe by and this 35-year-old guy will run by. I’m 46 and I’m like, I as of now have two children. I needn’t bother with another, she told Goldberg, later backtracking by saying age doesn’t actually represent people. Also in October, she participated in a blind date on The Howard Stern Show and opened up about the experience to the audience and to her match Clarke Thorell. Although the 50 First Dates actress is open to finding love, she does not want to get married again. Besides, I have kids and there is no reason for me to get married again, she said. I might live with someone else, maybe, but I will never, ever, ever, remarry.
