YouTuber Dream recently shared fake DMs from Pokimane, calling her fans “simp.” However, Dream had to issue apologies for the same to Pokimane. Dream had recently addressed most of the controversies he has faced so far. To explain one, he used fake DMs to illustrate how things could appear real.

Dream addresses his controversies in the latest YouTube video
YouTuber Dream has been a popular content creator with a large following across social media. However, despite his great success, he has not been immune to controversies. He recently addressed many of them in his latest YouTube video as well.

One of the controversies that Dream had to face was about grooming his young fans. Denying the allegations, Dream, in his recent YouTube video, tried to convince everyone by showing how fake DMs from popular figures could be created to make them look real.
Dream shows fake DMs of Pokimane in his YouTube video
YouTuber Dream addressed his grooming controversy by posting a video on December 19th. In the video, the YouTuber showed how fake DMs from popular figures could be created to appear real. To illustrate this, he created fake DMs of Pokimane and xQc.
Dream used a software to create fake DMs from Pokimane. That had her text in it as “They’re just some stupid cookies I repackaged and am selling at like 10x the price but my fans are stupid AF, so they’ll buy them anyway”. It further was read as “They taste pretty good at least. Time to get rich off of stupid little girls and simps again”.
Dream apologizes to Pokimane for her fake DMs
After Pokimane herself came across fake DMs of her by Dream. She responded over the same as “I’m out camping and come home to find out….Dream is faking dms of me? Lmaoo, what?”. Pokimane had even shown her video on Instagram of her camping place”.

However, Dream took the time to address the fake DMs of Pokimane he used in his recent YouTube video. About it, Dream said, “Sorry Poki, people will believe anything.”
He added, “Knowing you and your character, i thought it was so ridiculously fake that no one could remotely believe it, but Twitter surprises me everyday and makes the point for me. Gonna go enjoy some of your cookies now”.
To which Pokimane replied back as “appreciate ya clearing things up, it really is insane the things people will believe lmao”.
