Drake, the multi-award-winning rapper, has revealed that he is taking a hiatus from music to focus on his health after experiencing gastrointestinal issues. After the release of his new album For All the Dogs, the Canadian-born singer announced a year-long hiatus. On Friday and Saturday nights, he was slated to play in his hometown of Toronto. Following his statement, several scheduled performances were cancelled. On his SiriusXM radio show Table for One on Friday, the 36-year-old stated, “I probably won’t make music for a little while, to be honest.”First and foremost, I must prioritise my health, which I will discuss shortly. “Nothing crazy, but you know, I’d like people to be healthy in life, and I’ve had the weirdest troubles with my stomach for years.”

“He went on to say: “I’m gonna lock the door on the studio for a brief bit.”I’m not even sure what a small amount is. Perhaps a year or so. Perhaps a little longer.” Drake later tweeted a clip from the radio show, assuring his 143 million followers, “See ya when I see ya.” He had previously scheduled concerts in Denver, New Orleans, Nashville, & Columbus, Ohio. The cover of his ninth studio album, For All the Dogs, was designed by his five-year-old son Adonis, who also appears in the music video for the single track 8 AM in Charlotte and raps on the tune Daylight. The Pet Shop Boys said on Friday night that he had used the chorus from their West End Girls on their hit All The Parties without providing credit or seeking permission.

Drake Says He’s Taking A Break From Music Because Of His Stomach Issues He’s Had For Years

Drake has said that he will step away from music after experiencing “the craziest issues for years” with his stomach. The Canadian rap sensation announced that he will stop making songs for “maybe a year or so” to focus on his health. His statement coincided with the release of a new album by the 36-year-old singer, which contains a song starring his five-year-old son Adonis rapping. Drake stated on an edition of the SiriusXM series Table for One, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”I’m going to be completely honest with you. First and foremost, I must prioritise my health, which I will discuss shortly. “There was nothing out of the norm… “I want people to be healthy in life, as I’ve had the strangest stomach problems for years.”Simply put, I’m expressing the obvious.”So, I need to concentrate on my wellness and get back on the right track, and I fully intend to do so.” “I have a lot of other matters that I’d like to concentrate on, so I’ll be closing the studio door for a little while.” I’m still not sure what constitutes a tiny amount.

Perhaps a year or two, perhaps a little longer.” Drake’s ninth studio album, For All The Dogs, was released on Friday. Fellow rappers like 21 Savage, J. Cole, and Lil Yachty appear on the 23-track album, as does Drake’s young son Adonis, who raps on the single Daylight. Drake also uses his son’s drawing for the cover of For All The Dogs, and Adonis appears heavily in the video for the album’s lead track, 8am In Charlotte. Drake and Rihanna split up at least seven years ago, but he’s still not over it, according to fans following the release of the rapper’s new album, For All the Dogs, on Friday (Oct. 2). Listeners are sure that Drizzy takes jabs at his superstar ex-girlfriend, as well as her partner & the father of her two children, A$AP Rocky, on some of the songs, particularly “Fear of Heights.” This comes after Drake and Ri fueled romance rumours in 2009 and went on to date on and off until Rihanna told Vogue in 2018 that she & the “God’s Plan” singer “don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either.”
