After a long divorce battle, Dr Dre divorce case has finally come to a close. Dr Dre and now, his ex-wife have agreed to a property settlement. In this settlement, the Hip Hop legend and millionaire will pay Nicole Young 100 million dollars. Dr Dre. 56-year-old is a legendary and wealthy hip hop artist who is ready to pay a fraction from his millions to Nicole Young, 51-year-old. Initially, Nicole, the ex-wife has asked for half of the assets of Dr Dre. But according to the new settlement, there will be no extra given to her.

Dr Dre is an American rapper, and producer. He is also an entrepreneur. He established his career in hip hop and started as a producer for the rap group N.W.An in the ’80s. Eventually, he moved into entrepreneurship. According to sources, Dr Dre is the 3rd richest rapper in the world with an estimated net worth of $820 million. The N.W.A group made his debut album- STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON.
This became a great hit. Dr Dre sold his band, Beats By Dr Dre to Apple for $3 billion, several years ago. Even after struggling with many disputes, lawsuits, losses, he is one the richest rappers in the world. He has worked with the majority of famous hip-hop artists and rappers.
Lengthy Divorce Battle
Dr Dre and Nicole Young confirmed their divorce on December 9 this year. As proof, Dr celebrated it with big silver balloons decorations that stated DIVORCED AF. It was shared on Instagram also. Nicole Young filed the divorce last year in June and the couple was together for 25 years. The duo has two daughters Truly, 20-year-old and Truice, 24-year-old.
According to sources, Young accused Dr Dre of abusing her during all the years of marriage. She also alleged that he had put her previously a gunpoint twice. Nicole added that Dr have punched her in the head and face in the early years of marriage.
He also kicked down a door while she was hiding from his rage in 2016. Due to this, she suffered from post-traumatic stress syndrome according to sources. To this, Dre denied all the allegations and told the court that he never abused her or threaten her physical safety.
But this seems to be contradictory as he has a history of violent and abusive allegations. Singer Michel’le and Tairrie B along with journalist Dee Barnes accused him of abuse. But, lately, Dr has apologized for his doing to the woman. He apologized for his acts to hurt women in his life in the past and it was because he used to drink a lot. But the moment he got married he is trying to be a better person.
Dr Dre Agrees To Pay $100 Million
According to sources, the terms of the agreement states that Dr Dre will pay 50 million dollars now and the other 50 million dollars in another year. Further, he will keep all the assets that the two used to share together. This includes their home in Malibu and two more properties in Calabasas. Not just this but four more properties in Los Angeles.
A mansion worth 100 million dollars in Brentwood is with Dr. Dre only. He kept the rights to his master recording as well. But, Young won’t stop with money as she will keep four vehicles out of the ten that the duo shared. She will acquire the jewelry and funds exchanged during their marriage. According to sources, Dre was willing to pay her more if she would have agreed to his terms back in 2020. The two got married in 1996. Previously, the rapper was paying her $350,000 per month as a temporary support.
