After a two-month break from content creation, Dr Disrespect made a highly anticipated return to streaming on YouTube on September 6. During the stream, he addressed the controversies surrounding his departure and accused Twitch of playing a role in his removal from their platform. Despite being banned on Twitch and currently demonetized on YouTube, Dr Disrespect expressed his intention to continue streaming on YouTube, even revealing plans to reapply for monetization on September 25.

However, the most intriguing moment of his comeback occurred during what seemed to be a “glitch” in the stream, which may have hinted at his future plans for exclusive content. While streaming in his signature “Champions Arena,” a sudden technical hiccup led to a change of scenery, revealing a laboratory backdrop with a half-built CGI “robo-Doc” malfunctioning on a table. The robot then delivered a surprising line: “Subscribe on X,” seemingly giving away Dr Disrespect’s plan to stream on X, formerly known as Twitter.

This accidental “reveal” was met with a humorous response from the Doc, who pretended to scold the robot for prematurely leaking his strategy. “We don’t have our subscribe button just yet on X,” he joked, hinting that something is indeed in the works for him on the platform, but the official launch has yet to happen.

With Dr Disrespect currently unable to monetize his YouTube content and permanently banned from Twitch, his financial situation appears to be reliant on donations from his loyal fanbase. The idea of streaming exclusive content on X could be a potential avenue for supplementing his income. Given that creators often look to diversify their streaming platforms, this move wouldn’t be surprising, especially with the growing trend of multi-platform streaming.

Notably, Dr Disrespect had previously dismissed the idea of moving to Kick, a rising streaming platform, claiming he would need a staggering $50 million to even consider the switch. This hesitation, combined with his demonetization struggles, has left many fans speculating on his next major move in the streaming space.

While Dr Disrespect’s future remains uncertain, his potential shift to streaming on X could signify a bold new direction for the popular creator. Whether he’ll secure YouTube monetization once again or explore alternative platforms, fans are eagerly waiting to see what’s next for the “Two-Time Champion.”
