The official title of ‘Downton Abbey 2’ is ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ which is an upcoming historical drama film. The film is a sequel to Downton Abbey in the year 2019. It was directed by Simon Curtis and written by Julian Fellowes, of both films. Whereas, the First film is directed by Michael Engler. It can be seen that previously Downton Abbey: a new era has been named as Downton Abbey 2. But now it is officially confirmed the movie name by Focus Features and Carnival Films.
The storyline of the sequel
Whereas, from the resources, it is published that it’s the best time to think to reunite the family and friends in this sequel film. The producer of the film said it’s a very difficult year because of the separation from family and friends. So the lovable characters of Downton Abbey will be reunited soon. The film would manage to be released with the help of Gareth Neame who is the winner of Emmy and BAFTA Award and Emmy Award-winning Liz Trubridge. Whereas Simon Curtis who is BAFTA- and Emmy-nominated (My Week With Marilyn) is directing the film.

The family and servant lives who served for them of the 20th century and one other than in an Edwardian English country house.
