‘Downton Abbey 2’ gets official title, and Release Date Revealed

The official title of ‘Downton Abbey 2’ is ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ which is an upcoming historical drama film. The film is a sequel to Downton Abbey in the year 2019. It was directed by Simon Curtis and written by Julian Fellowes, of both films. Whereas, the First film is directed by Michael Engler. It can be seen that previously Downton Abbey: a new era has been named as Downton Abbey 2. But now it is officially confirmed the movie name by Focus Features and Carnival Films.
The storyline of the sequel
Whereas, from the resources, it is published that it’s the best time to think to reunite the family and friends in this sequel film. The producer of the film said it’s a very difficult year because of the separation from family and friends. So the lovable characters of Downton Abbey will be reunited soon. Added to this, nothing is better to imagine than get together with his family. The family contains Julian, Gareth, and the characters of the film for their fans.
The film would manage to be released with the help of Gareth Neame who is the winner of Emmy and BAFTA Award and Emmy Award-winning Liz Trubridge. Whereas Simon Curtis who is BAFTA- and Emmy-nominated (My Week With Marilyn) is directing the film.

Moreover, the cast of the film includes as the previous film Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Laura Charmichael, Carter, and these are back to the sequel movie. Some new members also include Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, and Dominic West. They also announced that the film would be screening on 18 March 2022. First Downton Abbey synopsis
If we are talking about the first television series it showed the Crawley Family. The family and servant lives who served for them of the 20th century and one other than in an Edwardian English country house. The first film showed us that a Royal Visit to the Crawley family and Downton staff. And that from the King and Queen of England and ended with a ball fitting for the Royal Family.
