C-Knight, the original member of the rap trio The Dove Shack, is struggling for his life, with his loved ones awaiting the results of several important tests before taking any more action, according to TMZ. The MC’s father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr., informs TMZ that his son was hospitalised on Oct. 18 as a result of a dangerous blood sugar level caused by his diabetes. Blount claims that C-Knight sustained a stroke while undergoing dialysis. In addition, TMZ said that C-Knight suffered a cardiac arrest… and that his heart stopped, necessitating medical resuscitation. C-Knight had been put on life support at that moment, according to Blount, but more health difficulties arose as a result of this.

TMZ informed that C-Knight has been in an unconscious state following the stroke & cardiac arrest and that the medical team has warned the family there are no signs of progress. Lount informs TMZ that they are awaiting the results of a critical MRI exam, which will reveal whether or not there is any significant brain activity. Despite how bleak things appear at the moment, his family hopes he can fight back and recover. If the scan reveals no brain activity – the worst-case scenario – his family wants to keep him on life support for the time being… and will assess their alternatives. For the time being, they’re hoping for a miracle and hoping he’ll survive.

The Dove Shack only released two albums, but they’re both noteworthy, particularly for their contributions to the West Coast G-Funk movement of the 1990s, which was pioneered by Snoop Dogg and Warren G – both of whom know and are acquainted with these guys. The other members, 2Scoops as well as Bo-Roc, are close to C-Knight, and Bo requests that everyone send their thoughts & thoughts his way as CK attempts to recover. “My fervent plea to everyone reading this post is to pray for Arnez a.k.a. C Knight from the Dove Shack, my brother from another mother and one of my closest companions in the world.” He is the founder of the Dove Shack and the reason I was able to create #summertimeinthelbc for the rest of the globe, so please give him positive energy & healing prayers.”
