Doja Cat’s grand performance at Coachella 2022 is proof enough that retiring from music is the last thing the Grammy award-winner should be doing.

After two years of absence, Coachella is back with a bang. The wait was probably worth it with all the epic performances of the artists.

Coachella is a highly recognized desert music festival located at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival however caught the attention of the world with its glitzy dress codes as well as guest sightings of major A-list celebrities.

Doja recently bagged her first Grammy award. Consequently, earlier last month on 25th March, the Los Angeles artist changed her Twitter username to ‘I quit’. This made the fans anxious as they speculated the singer is leaving the music industry following the criticisms she faced from her Paraguayan fans.

Coachella kickstarted this year with performances from Danny Elfman, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and a surprise entry of country queen, Shania Twain.

The audience however got wild when Doja Cat performed her music set last night on Sunday at Coachella 2022.

The L.A. native arrived on the stage with a wailing guitar solo. The atmosphere of the desert festival shifted when the singer rode on elevated platforms.

Doja Cat’s performance was without a doubt among the best shows at Coachella 2022. The singer easily captured thousands of eyes as she strutted and swaggered on the stage.

The Grammy winner changed tons of costumes during her performance last night. She might even have changed twice as many costumes then Megan Thee Stallion managed last night.

The 26 years old singer performed her addictive song Woman. She also sang a sample track named Hound Dog, which will be featured in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming Elvis biopic. 

She even gave a snippet of her forthcoming new single, Vegas that may have caused the audience to go into a frenzy.

Later in the performance, she was joined by Rico Nasty to perform an unruly rendition of their shared hit, Tia Tamera.

Doja even sang her popular track Kiss Me More sans collaborator SZA. The crowd was anticipating the reunion of both the artists following their iconic award accepting scene at this year’s Grammy. Regardless, the singer’s epic performance stole the show at Coachella 2022.
