DJ Vlad Calls Out Drake and DJ Khaled for Silence Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict

DJ Vlad is calling out Drake & DJ Khaled for their stance on the present dispute between Israel & Hamas. After a horrific strike that killed over 1,000 Israelis on Saturday (October 7), Israel proclaimed war on the Palestinian militant organisation called Hamas. Since then, Israeli bombings on Gaza have claimed the lives of at least 900 civilians. While many people have spoken out about the issue on online platforms, Drake & Khaled have remained mute. On Tuesday (October 10), Vlad took to Twitter to criticise both of them, arguing that given that Drake was raised Jewish & Khaled is Palestinian-American, they must speak out.

This isn’t the first instance DJ Vlad has criticised public personalities on social media. Last month, the divisive media figure took to Twitter to slam Nicki Minaj for releasing a song sample in which she appears to insinuate that she has a group that will execute somebody at her command. “Nicki Minaj’s spouse is on house arrest for harassing Offset,” Vlad said at the start. “Right after that, she teases a song on Instagram, claiming to have gunmen who are going to show up and do everything she says. This was the exact same Nicki who threatened to take her husband to Akademiks’ residence in response to his remarks about her.

DJ VLAD Calls Drake And DJ Khaled Out Over Silence On ‘Gaza-Israel Issue
DJ Vlad has chastised Drake & DJ Khaled for remaining silent on the current dispute involving Israel and Hamas. While plenty of individuals have voiced their views on the matter on online forums, the two performers have kept silent. DJ Vlad expressed his dissatisfaction via X (previously known as Twitter), arguing that given that Drake was raised Jewish & Khaled is Palestinian-American, they ought to speak out. “It’s given that the two of them have become so hungry for becoming visible that they are hesitant to alienate a certain amount of their fanbase.” God forbid that Drake lands in the second spot following Taylor Swift because some of his Palestinian fans refuse to stream his music. And it could mean the end of humanity if Khaled sold a few fewer trainers since some Jewish people refused to buy his Jordans’, Vlad wrote on Twitter. Vlad went on to link the present scenario to Tupac’s, saying, “That’s what distinguishes between today’s artists and everlasting legends like 2Pac.” Pac would undoubtedly be the first to speak up regarding something so personal.” Vlad’s remarks came following a Hamas militant group struck the Universo Paralello music event in Gaza. The tragedy affected at least 260 individuals.
