Lydia Hearst and Chris Hardwick are parents! Their first child together is a baby girl whose name is Dimity. The 50-year-old host and the 37-year-old actress welcomed their first child together last month.
Their happy news was shared on Instagram. The couple shared a picture from the hospital showing that their baby was born on Jan. 29.
It feels like yesterday when we learned that we were pregnant, and now she’s here!” Hearst wrote. Hearst continued by saying that becoming a parent changes you in many ways, but some of the most noticeable changes are also the most intimate ones.
He wrote that it was a humbling and inspiring experience watching Lydia go through pregnancy and give birth to the sweet little peanut. “She is an absolute warrior and I am blessed and honored to know her!
According to him, the baby’s development plateaued and the placenta hardened before delivery was originally scheduled for Feb 9. They took her out a bit early due to her low fluid reserves, as well as the fact that she was breech, he said.
