Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal battle has taken a heated turn, as his attorneys accuse high-profile lawyer Tony Buzbee of using the case for personal publicity. Buzbee, representing multiple clients, recently filed six lawsuits against the music mogul, adding to the escalating list of legal actions. Diddy, currently facing charges of rape, sodomy, drugging, and assault, is awaiting trial at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Centre.
Tony Buzbee, known for his aggressive legal strategies, claims to represent over 120 alleged victims of Diddy. The six new lawsuits are the first to surface in a wave of allegations expected to be filed in the coming weeks. Despite these claims, Diddy’s legal team is pushing back, accusing Buzbee of using the case for media attention.
Accusations of Publicity Stunts
Diddy’s lawyers took aim at Buzbee’s tactics, criticizing his recent press conference and the establishment of a hotline to collect information from alleged victims. The hotline, which reportedly received over 12,000 calls in a single day, was viewed by Diddy’s team as a way for Buzbee to attract attention rather than focus on the legal process. A statement released by Diddy’s attorneys to The Mirror said, “The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity.”
The legal team expressed their confidence in Diddy’s innocence, stating, “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”
Despite the accusations, Tony Buzbee continues to pursue legal action, vowing to represent the growing number of alleged victims. In his own statement, Buzbee confirmed that six cases had already been filed, alleging aggravated sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and abuse by Diddy. The incidents reportedly span from 1996 to 2021, and the lawsuits have been filed under New York’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.
Four of the alleged victims are male, two are female, and one was reportedly 16 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. “We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves and will work to see that justice is done,” Buzbee said, adding that his firm continues to gather evidence as more lawsuits are expected to follow.
As the lawsuits continue to pile up, the legal battle between Diddy and his accusers grows more contentious. Diddy’s legal team has repeatedly denied the accusations, with his attorney Erica Wolff stating that the mogul “emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.” She further emphasized that Diddy looks forward to clearing his name in court, where “the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
#Diddy has been hit with 6 new lawsuits coming from lawyer Tony Buzbee, who previously said he was repping 120 new accusers.

Diddy’s legal team also suggested that Buzbee’s actions are part of a broader media campaign to enhance his own public image. In an interview with TMZ, the attorneys alleged that the horrific accusations were baseless, pointing again to the publicity surrounding the hotline as evidence of Buzbee’s self-promotion.
With more lawsuits expected, the ongoing legal saga surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs shows no sign of slowing down. As both sides prepare for a highly anticipated trial, the question remains whether Buzbee’s aggressive legal strategy will prove effective or if Diddy’s legal team can defend their client from what they describe as a “reckless media circus.”
As the case continues to unfold, the public will undoubtedly follow closely to see how the court proceedings play out and whether Diddy will ultimately be vindicated or held accountable for the accusations against him.
